Polar Bear Heating & Air Website

Polar Bear Heating & Air is a family-owned HVAC service located in Coats, NC, and has been servicing the Boggs family for 15+ years! When they approached us about a website redesign, we were over the moon to have an opportunity to return the favor!

The Polar Bear family wanted to redesign their website with a modern look and feel to help them stand out in a small town market. They shared a few photos they liked the look and feel of, and one photo they for sure wanted to use. The rest was up to us!

We utilized images related to polar bears where possible. For example, on the Residential Heating and AC Repair page, we used a photo of an igloo.

They have a great logo already, but didn't have the source files, so we loaded it into Adobe Illustrator to create new source files for them. The polar bear part of the logo came in handy later on, when we used it as a placeholder for photos of staff members, as well as for the site's favicon.

We sourced the colors for the site from the colors in their logo, given that they already have work vans and such with the existing logos and colors. This helps to create brand consistency wherever they appear.

They had great content on their existing website homepage already, so we were able to reuse much of this, but wrote new copy for each of their services pages. We sought to make the services pages as clear and straightforward about the service they are offering as possible, keeping the headings big and bold to really draw attention. FAQ sections compliment the service descriptions by adding relevant context for SEO, and of course, answering frequently asked questions.
