The Summary
The HP Group is a contracting service for government facilities, pairing contractors with the facilities that need their services. While they are a professional and modern company, their website had become outdated and needed a refresh to better reflect their business.
We worked in collaboration with growth marketing agency PixelNova Solutions to take a modern approach in rebuilding The HP Group's website from the ground up.
Services Rendered: Web Design, Web Development
The Story
The HP Group primarily gets their business through word-of-mouth, but they understand the importance of first impressions with new facility and contractor clients. Because of their word-of-mouth approach, they wanted to keep the website simple and neat, so we opted to condense it to one page only.
We developed the site using Client-First framework, a systematic convention for organizing, structuring, and naming site components when developing in Webflow.
We wanted the home Hero section (the first section you see on the page) to quickly and clearly communicate what they do. Previously, there wasn't a clear hierarchy on the page, so on this redesign, we made sure to make it stand out. This was achieved using a high-contrast white-text-on-black-background section with a custom-made image to add a modern touch of character that incorporated their brand color.
Next, keeping to the single-page approach, we pulled their certifications from from an interior page and placed them immediately after the home hero section, to instantly establish their credibility in their industry.
Similarly, we wanted to be sure all of the services they offer were on display. We created a sticky heading to reinforce trust, and had the individual services scroll only two at a time to draw attention to each service.
After that, we promoted the military service of the company's founder, to establish rapport since they primarily work with military facilities.
Finally, we tied up the site with statistics about their performance, and a client testimonial section to built trust with prospective clients, and ended the page with their contact information just before the footer. This way, after reading all of the information about the company, they could be easily contacted.
